Introducing the Founder,

Your health can be impacted at any point in life, so it is important to get the help that you need when you need it. Life circumstances can leave you feeling unloved, cursed or so alone that you wonder
“what is the point?” I am here to remind you that “You matter!”
I am an accredited and highly experienced therapist, who takes an integrative approach to talking therapy. I am accredited by the BACP & The Royal National Institute of Blind People, to work with individuals. I also help couples, using ‘The Gottman Method’ (Level 1 & 2 Gottman Method Clinical Training).
At Healing Hands Counselling we know that real life, is not always smooth sailing. However, we believe that you deserve, to live a life that you love and can be proud of. Avoiding people and hiding from your triggers, can make life miserable and unfulfilling. “Having Sasha to listen to what I was saying was amazing, it was definitely what I needed. Having someone replay the words, having someone to remind me of what I was doing highlighting the anxiety was massive for me. It is hard for me to open up and what I learnt was being honest with myself. The therapy also helped to normalise my feelings. I'd say know what you want to talk about and be as honest as possible."

"Would highly recommend Sasha and her team if you wish to begin therapy. She is very professional and friendly making you feel at ease as you discuss and work through the things you would like to discuss and providing helpful techniques to use . Would especially recommend HHC if therapy is something new you are looking to try but are unsure if it’s for you."

“I would definitely recommend you. Maybe a lot of people have that fear. It can be very daunting like you are going to sit on the couch and the therapist is going to be like “mmm… yeah” looking at you and with you It wasn’t like that. It was very good it let me know that therapists they will kind of like take you by the hand. You helped me to understand things. I talked a lot about big issues. I opened up about my family and it just really helped me. I can see the difference in myself. It’s just a really good experience. ” Psychotherapeutic Counselling client (February-October 2021

“You helped me to go through a life crisis. I felt supported, empowered to take on the issues that were the root cause of my crisis. The therapy helped me to get closer in touch with my own emotions. To express my feelings and emotions to both myself and those closest/ around me."

Psychotherapeutic Counselling client (January2020-August 2021)
“I found therapy useful because it helped me deal with some things that I was struggling with but also opened my eyes to some other things too, that I was not even aware of. I found the out of therapy work and exercises provided by Sasha particularly useful. I had some probing questions to help me with my family relationships and tools to help me live my daily life. I would recommend the therapy because as much as we don't want ask for help when we need it, we need it and need to be able to ask for it."

Psychotherapeutic Counselling client (July 2020-January 2021)
“I've been attending therapy sessions with Sasha for around a year now and she has helped me immensely in working through some long-standing but hard-to-face issues which I had (un)happily been putting off dealing with for years. Sasha has guided me to realise a better understanding of myself — my emotions, reactions, needs and value — and her approach and demeanour has simultaneously forced me to hold myself to account while easing me through difficult moments of realisation and self-discovery. With Sasha I feel I get both the room and the feedback I need, together with tools and strategies to help live a rounded and fulfilling life. I would highly recommend Sasha to anyone in need of the same."

“It has been my privilege to have worked alongside Sasha in many different types of support group settings. I have found Sasha to be very intuitive and considerate with regards to clients’ needs. I have also observed Sasha to be very supportive in the roles she was employed to do. I would certainly recommend Sasha if you are considering any type of personal or group therapy."

"I attended the workshop for CPD (Career Professional Development) as an adult tutor and for my own personal and community interest. The session was interactive and the group activities and discussions allowed for peer learning and sharing our experiences of anxiety and depression. Sasha's delivery was well paced, informative and engaging. I'd recommend the session for anyone who wants to gain a basic understanding of anxiety and depression and to explore their experiences."
Danielle Adams
Adult Tutor and Circle Facilitator
"Sasha had a group session available where the focus was on understanding and dealing with Anxiety and Depression. I don’t struggle with any of these issues personally however I have a number of people close to me that do and so I saw it as a great opportunity to invite them and attend for support. I found the session to be extremely informative, I loved that she encouraged engagement and that as a group we had to support each other and share our understanding. I think that technique was a great bridge for dealing with what could have been some uncomfortable interactions. Sasha seems to bestow much experience and I feel she is a great psychotherapist. Following the session my guests shared that they started to understand the way they were feeling in more depth. Sasha is very friendly, warm and non-judgemental and has really created an environment of trust and care from that initial group session alone. I would encourage anyone facing anxiety or depression to try working through it with Sasha."
